In my career at Sikorsky Aircraft I worked with some of the best technicians in the world. These gentlemen present the same degree of professionalism.
Brought my car here for an oil change, tune up and new battery ($545.00).Also told them I thought there was a problem with the transmission and described what was going on. They took it for a drive and said it drove fine. I asked them to check the transmission fluid. They said they did. Car still had the same problem. Took it to J&L Master Auto in Bridgeport they told me transmission fluid was black and thick. Did a flush and new filter and now the car runs fine. How is it that Southport Service didn't notice the fluid needed to be flushed? I don't know if they even bothered checking it. I know there's a new owner. I also know I'll never take my car there again.
Absolutely terrific people with superb skills.
I work for Southport Automotive and have no idea who dan k is and when he brought his car here but we check each vehicle thoroughly and thoughtfully it would be great if he came and stopped by if there was an issue with his service instead of slamming the business without giving them a chance to correct the issue
