I just had to find a new vet, because my old vet of 30+ years retired. I got a few accolades from friends about Fairfield Veterniary Hospital. Their words were not enough to describe the wonderful feeling I got when I brought my puppy in. Both Dr. Plunkett and Dr. LaMorte came over and played with my dog while we were in the waiting room. It is clear that they truly love animals. Dr. LaMorte also was willing to spend as much time with me as needed. I am so happy to have found new vets that truly want the best for the animals that they treat.
Dr. Plunkett is a caring, dedicated vet who is always willing to go the extra mile for his patients. Highly recommend!
DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. After a 3 hour appointment where he could not figure out a glaringly obvious issue. He sent my dog home with no medicine saying he would call the next day with medicine recommendation. My dog died that night at the hosipital. The other vets I’ve spoken to are appalled by his choices and lack of attention and service. The next day NO ONE from the office even called to give condolences or check in. They have no after hours support. No personal connection or accountability. I am truly disgusted and would not want anyone i know To send their animals to this facility.
Dr Plunkett and staff are so professional and caring. I've brought a variety of animals to this place, and they have been super friendly and helpful. I've been to another vet in Fairfield, and was never truly comfortable with them. This place is where it's at!
