Don't even bother with this place, I was glad I was able to transfer after a semester of feeling entirely ripped off from the expenses this university cost, poor housing conditions with professors that only pretend to care, this place is just a huge scam and only cares about your money in fact they let a student back in who was convicted of rape even after an overbearing amount of evidence against him, there were so many red flags about how poorly they managed themselves that I couldn't take it for much longer

As I head into my last semester as SHU I wanted to say a few words about my experience thus far. First off, I have created some of the best friendships and networking relations with some of the best people and companies that have made my experience as good as I could have hoped. The academics pushed me to achieve new skills and acquire new abilities in my field of study. The university urges students to become more involved which was a huge part of my time there. Not only is the campus beautiful and ever growing, the food is amazing with various options. I would never regret my decision to go to Sacred Heart and I am sure you wouldn't too.
Worse experience of my life. They claim they guarantee housing on campus all 4 years but it’s a LIE. They put me in a hotel as a freshman this year. It was 15 minutes away from campus and I missed out on everything. I dropped out a couple of weeks ago. If affected me emotionally and ruined everything for me. I missed out on meeting friends, living in a dorm, and being on campus. They don’t return any phone calls. All the care about is MONEY. Don’t recommend going to SHU at all. They have no sympathy for me and think they did nothing wrong by putting me in a hotel my freshman year.
Though I have never attended SHU I have experienced a student who was highly homophobic and bullied a younger student. When the school was informed they took no action to stop this inexcusable behavior from occurring again. Said student has also posted on multiple social accounts her in the possession of alcoholic drinks. I would hope a university such as this would hold a higher standard for their students who, in fact, represent this school. Sad. Very sad.
