The Woods branch is way better/nicer staffwise, but the downtown brach has a bigger selection.
The librians are helpful and pleasant, and there are many comfortable spots to study.
This is a great library with beautiful space for kids on the second floor. Toddler/kids programs are very educative, well thought of and most of all fun. My 2 year old really enjoys going there and you can't miss their annual Star Wars reads day... lots of fun!
Such a welcoming environment, I can spend hours here, looking for books and just sitting around reading.
A great place for kids in the children's library- it was built for them. It is more interesting, playful and unique than most children's museums in CT!
