So after reviewing not only yelp reviews but also google reviews and after one of my girlfriends went and kind of loved her color I decided to go myself and try the place out. Hated everything done to my hair! I had the new girl named Lauren although a very nice person, she needs to go back to beauty school and learn a few things about not only color but color placement when dealing with already dyed hair. The fact that after so much fuss and her legit pacing back and forth and asking the owner multiple questions about "what to use/ do to my hair" after putting in 4 different sets of toner mixes the owner did not take over. For the sake of your Solon and wanting people to come back and receive amazing feedback you'd want to step in and just do it yourself if the person who was supposed to do a good job doesn't !! The owner simply walked over said a few things then walked about to her own customer. It was SO apparent that Lauren was stressed out about what was going on with my hair and if she had had these concerns before bleaching my hair should've told me she couldn't do it !!! It's bleach it's permanent. When a person doesn't know how to deal with not only virgin hair but also professionally and box dyed hair they should not be offering services !! Then when I was unhappy with the out come she stated " well you know your hair is box died" and when I began pointing out certain things she said well balayage hair is a whole bunch of V and Ws!! Number one before she started to even touch my hair I showed her some pictures STATED I DIDNT WANT TO COME BACK MULTIPLE TIMES IN ORDER TO GET A REALLY LITE COLOR which she said she couldn't do since it'd take multiple sessions so AND this is with talking to the owner and the hair dresser the day before sending them pictures of what I wanted and my own hair length and color... she proceeded to say it will take multiple sessions to get as blonde as I wanted so I asked her to show me some of the work that she's done on previous clients and I'd pick out the best one that Sue SUITED my hair and that she could do being that it was her work AND STILLLL!! She didnt do it ! She had to have brought me to the sink to use toner at least 5-7 times to tone the lighter colors with the dark once I was back in her chair I told her I don't want reddish orange or brassy tones I also mentioned this before she put anything on my hair as well. And let me tell you my hair is red and orange !! It's burnt at the ends and my hair looked 100 times better before I ever step foot in this Solon !! Yes they might offer you tea water and coffee but the end results you might not like !! Their lucky I didn't walk out and not pay! Lauren didn't even blow out my hair properly !! And asked how long it take to straighten my hair and when I said about 2 hours she looks like she didn't want to even deal with my hair. I walked out with damaged hair, orangey radish hair and looking like a poodle !!! I could've done a heck of a better job with a box dye like I've done before !! They're extremely over priced as well. Save your money and go somewhere in NYC where they're is PROFESSIONAL COLORIST!! Master colorist !! A person who has done color for less then or only 5 years should go back and learn new techniques and learn how to deal with not only ALL types of hair BUT also boxed dyed or previously professionally dyed hair !! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED!!!

Laura was a great stylist. did exactly what i wanted which was a balayage and haircut. The balayage was on the browner side and just did a simple layered haircut. Very professional and nice. Had a great experience :)
I am SO happy with how my baliage turned out! I've never had anything ever done to my hair before and Briana made sure I was comfortable and received exactly what I wanted! I am so happy with how it came out. The salon is so clean and comfortable and staff is warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough about Briana and how great she was! She did an amazing job on my hair and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! Will definitely be back!!
I have been following this amazingly talented young woman for at least 5 years. Her Salon is professional, and inviting. No Drama just laughs. Everywhere I go people even in the business ask me wow, your color looks amazing where do you go and I tell them. She is truly an artist in every way and a hard working innovative person who is respectful, kind and extremely talented. I look like a new person when I leave there. 5 stars all the way!!!
